Sail, Darling

Sail, Darling, 72x48”, 2022

This client gave me creative freedom but requested the piece be predominately blue and/or green. After discussing with the client their general likes and dislikes Lundberg came up with a “night time sailing” theme and her client approved. From there the piece was a surprise. Lundberg paired a delicate, architectural, rose window structures with a glowing moon to embody the night sky. The sailboat is leaving the harbor and embarking on an unknown journey. This piece is about having faith when facing the unknown.
