Autumn Lundberg

Autumn Lundberg (b. 1991, Marshfield, WI) is an independent, multi-disciplinary artist and designer currently based in Milwaukee. Her practice spans painting, installations, and product design, often showcasing otherworldly scenes imbued with religious symbolism, such as animals and architecture. Influenced by her interests in nature, angels, and the afterlife, Lundberg’s work transports viewers to vibrant, dream-like landscapes that evoke a first-person experience of new dimensions. Drawing on the visual traditions of Surrealism and the playful spirit of her childhood influences, her creations intertwine themes of love, grief, and contemporary life.

With a degree in Industrial Design from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, Lundberg aims to create extreme sculptures and installations that reflect her Industrial Design background. Her recent work includes a large-scale ceiling installation designed to evoke the sensation of the heavens breaking through, showcasing her ability to blend artistic vision with technical expertise. Lundberg’s previous role as the NFL's first creative technologist honed her skills in experience design, enabling her to communicate complex concepts through sketches and 3D modeling, and encouraged her to consider how to make an awe inspiring impact on a large audience.

Inspired by the intersection of science and religion, Lundberg’s artwork is a dialogue with the divine, filled with personal significance and curated symbolism that honors the ecology of her upbringing. She invites viewers to join her on a journey of exploration, merging her artistic and educational experiences to create thought-provoking works that resonate with shared human experiences.
