Prism Warrior

Prism Warrior, 60x72”, 2022

A Commission piece inspired by my client’s poem, Prism Warrior. This piece is about navigating the duality of our world- what we believe vs what the world is conditioning us to believe. It’s about being a warrior for your own truth regardless of what society thinks. This piece is about breaking through barriers and and fighting for yourself. His message is depicted with an inviting broken gold fence in the foreground. Beyond the fence is a sword resting against a tree along the path, a crescent moon archway into the abyss and is completed with an upside down city skyline in blue, a subtle but striking representation of the weight of society.
