This client requested a piece titled after and inspired by the meaning of his name, King of Angels. This painting honors his ancestors who’ve fought for his journey and his destiny. This piece depicts their guidance and presence in the client’s life. Lundberg went with a royal color scheme of reds, purples and gold. The use of strong architectural details give the painting a feeling of permanence and power. Lundberg created a portal doorway into a heavenly abyss. Beyond the architecture and through the center of the doorway flys a dove, representing spiritual guidance. Imagery of the client’s ancestors are hidden throughout the piece.
