The Forest Bride emerges from the woods, accompanied by her animal companions who have come to witness her walk down the aisle.

This piece is a tribute to my upbringing in the Northwoods of northern Wisconsin and the deep connections I’ve fostered with the animals over the years. I believe in the spiritual bond between humans and animals—both domesticated and wild—and in the importance of caring for them. After all, perhaps they’re looking after us, too.”
