The client requested an abstract painting made with the colors of sunsets and sunrises. Lundberg captured the intensity of a sunrise and sunset by pairing soft, warm, pinks and oranges with a striking deep red. This piece also portrays an abstracted wing form that is similar to abstracted forms created by shifting clouds. The painting feels like a Phoenix being born from the ashes, delicate but fiery.
